Verlander loses no-hit bid on bunt, Scherzer on bouncer
DETROIT, Mich. (AP) — Hours after Max Scherzer lost his no-hit try on a bouncer that got away, Justin Verlander’s bid for a perfect game got broken up by a bunt.
