Suspect injured in officer-involved shooting
LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Lansing. Officers from the Violent Crimes Initiative Task Force were attempting to arrest a fugitive at a home on Cleo Street when the suspect was shot by a member of the task force around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The suspect, a 33-year-old man from Lansing, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
