Ships arriving in Grand Haven; free tours begin tonight
GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — The big ships will sail into port Monday afternoon as part of the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival. The four ships are expected to arrive around 1 p.m. with free ship tours starting at 6 p.m. Monday. The ships participating in this year’s festival include USCGC Mackinaw, USCGC Buckthorn, USCGC Alder, and USCGC Biscayne Bay. The tours happen from 6-8 p.m. every night until Saturday in Escanaba Park in Grand Haven. Additional tours are available earlier in the day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday....
