Police ID pilot killed in crash at W.K. Kellogg Airport
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — The pilot of a small plane died after crashing at the W.K. Kellogg Airport in Battle Creek. Police identified the pilot as 48-year-old William Carlson Pergerson II of Berrien Springs. He was a pastor with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, according to police. Pergerson was the only person in the single-engine aircraft when the crash happened around 8:20 p.m. Thursday.
