Kzoo residents asked to help name Peregrine Falcon chicks
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The top of the Fifth Third Bank Building in Kalamazoo is the home to a new family of Peregrine Falcon chicks.  And the bank is looking for area residents to help give them their names. The four chicks hatched in early May in a nesting box.  According to the bank, Peregrine Falcons are given names when they are banded.  Banded falcons are entered into a national Peregrine Falcon registry and referred to by name, not by a number.
