GRPD searching for hit-and-run driver
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Grand Rapids are searching for a driver Tuesday that hit a pedestrian and fled the scene. The woman was crossing Michigan Street NE around 1:30 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle turning left from Lafayette Street NE onto Michigan Street NE. The suspect vehicle is described as a red Saturn Vue with the license plate DCC 1248. It was last seen turning left onto Michigan Street heading east.
