Donors save GRAM Christmas tradition
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Christmastime tradition in downtown Grand Rapids has been saved. For the past nine years, the Grand Rapids residents have celebrated the season by lighting a tree at Rosa Parks Circle in front of the Grand Rapids Art Museum. However, this year, a GRAM spokesperson said the event was in danger because the museum couldn’t afford to replace the 40,000 LED bulbs that adorn the tree.
