Deputies shoot, kill California teen while trying to stop dog attack
PALMDALE, Calif. – In what officials called an “extremely unfortunate incident,” California sheriff’s deputies shot and killed a teenage boy while trying to stop a charging dog. The deputies opened fire when a pit bull charged at them a second time early Thursday in the Southern California city of Palmdale, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
