20-year-old fatally shot in Grand Rapids identified
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police have identified the man who was shot and killed on Grand Rapids’ southeast side Thursday morning. The victim was identified Thursday afternoon as 20-year-old Jalen Braswell-Thompson of Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids Police Department officers were originally dispatched to a home in the 500 block of Howard Street SE, in the area of Hall and Union streets, on a medical call at 6:45 a.m. When they arrived, police found a person giving CPR to Braswell-Thompson in the driveway.
