TN man allegedly kills wife after argument over tithe
ERWIN, Tenn. (WJHL) – An Erwin, Tennessee man is facing first-degree murder charges after his wife died from injuries sustained in a weekend shooting. The Unicoi County Sheriff’s Office told WJHL, WOOD TV8’s Johnson City, Tenn. sister station, that the shooting stemmed from an argument over tithe money. “The argument started over some tithe monies that he had that was going to go to a church and he was accusing her of stealing the money,” Unicoi County Sheriff Mike Hensley said.
