Teen driver airlifted after single-car rollover
CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A Rockford teen was seriously hurt after being thrown from his car in a rollover crash on Thursday afternoon. The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. in the 6600 block of Sunfish Lake Avenue NE south of Belding Road in Cannon Township, southeast of Rockford. The Kent County Sheriff’s Department says the driver, a 17-year-old from Rockford, lost control of his 2002 Honda Civic as he negotiated a curve. The car rolled and the driver was ejected.
