Stabenow, Peters announce nearly $4 Million for Gerald R. Ford International Airport
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– Big changes are coming to the Gerald R. Ford International Airport through funding by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters announced Friday that Kent County will receive $3,987,379 in funding for improvements to the airport. Officials expect to use the funding for reconstruction of an existing runway and to expand a terminal building to enable more efficient movement of passengers.
