Snyder fires DEQ head amid Flint water crisis
FLINT, Mich. (WOOD)— The head of the state department blamed the most for the Flint water crisis is off the job. The Department of Environmental Quality supervisor was fired Friday following a disciplinary conference about her performance, the governor’s office announced. The actions of a second DEQ employee suspended last month is still under review, the governor’s office said.
