Police: Speed a factor in deadly 28th St. crash
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was killed in a single vehicle crash in Grand Rapids early Friday morning. Police told 24 Hour News 8 that the 58-year-old man was driving westbound on 28th Street near Kalamazoo Avenue when he lost control of his car, crossed the centerline and hit an utility pole on the south side of the street around 2:30 a.m. Authorities say speed was a factor in the crash.
