Kentwood Pharmacy CEO sentenced following healthcare fraud
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A Kentwood pharmacy CEO will spend the next decade in prison. On Thursday, Duron Mulder, 56, formally of East Grand Rapids, plead guilty to health care fraud. It’s a case that dates back to 2010. Authorities also found the company committed fraud as far back as 2006. According to a press release from the Department of Justice and Attorney Patrick Miles, a total of 18 employees from the pharmacy were convicted as a result of unlawful practices.  This includes felony convictions for six pharmacists.
