Kent County deputies: Ex-worker stole $1M in water heaters
CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Investigators say a former employee is responsible for the theft of more than $1 million in water heaters over two months from a Cascade Township warehouse. The Kent County Sheriff Department said it learned about the thefts on Oct. 19, when the manager shared text messages that a friend of a friend had received from someone trying to sell some of the stolen water heaters.
