GRPD ends routine practice of taking prints of people without I.D.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Grand Rapids Police Department is getting rid of its standard practice to take fingerprints and photos of a person without identification. Police Chief David Rahinsky announced on Tuesday that GRPD will no longer conduct fingerprints as a matter of routine practice when conducting a field interview of an individual.
