Filling the substitute teacher shortage in Kent Co.
WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) – A company newly contracted to provide substitute teachers in Kent County is advertising to try to attract new substitutes for the future. This is the first year districts within Kent County will contract with the company EDU Staff. The president of the company, Clark Galloway, told 24 Hour News 8 the company would ideally like to recruit several hundred more substitute teachers so they are able to fill every open position within the county every day.
