Deputy in high-speed crash suspended without pay
BLOOMINGDALE — A Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputy has been suspended without pay for five days for a high-speed chase and crash that critically injured a teenage boy. Deputy Todd Oliver, who has a long history of car crashes, will begin serving his suspension Monday, according to Van Buren County Sheriff Dale Gribler. He’s also been assigned to court officer duty.
