Corrections officer sentenced in drunk driving case
MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — An Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department corrections deputy was sentenced Tuesday for ‘super drunk’ driving. Ottawa County Corrections Officer Dennis Smith was sentenced to nine months of probation and $875 in fines. He pleaded guilty on July 23 to ‘super drunk’ driving, which means he had a blood alcohol content (BAC) level of .17 or higher.
