Consumers Energy: 3,100 to lose power in Greenville area tonight
GREENVILLE, Mich. — More than 3,000 people in the Greenville area are expected to lose power Wednesday night as Consumers Energy crews perform substation repairs, the company announced Wednesday. According to a release, roughly 3,100 people will lose electricity downtown and in nearby areas starting at about 9 p.m. The impacted areas are bordered by: Shearer Road to the northwest, Lincoln Lake Avenue to the southwest, High Street to the south and Smith Street to the east, Consumers said in a release.
