The high-speed Lake Express Ferry started ferry service connecting Wisconsin and Michigan back in 2004. The Lake Express Ferry ports are located in the cities of Muskegon and Milwaukee. There are many advantages to taking The Lake Express Ferry when traveling to Wisconsin, one of which is the time savings, not to mention traffic. The Lake Express Ferry is very comfortable and Only takes about 2 1/2 hours to cross Lake Michigan. The Lake Express Ferry usually gets going in late April and continues through October.
The Lake Express Ferry makes two trips a day.
Tickets may be purchased online, in person, or by phone.
Both terminals in Muskegon and Milwaukee are newly built.
